Welcome to Rosanna
Mountain View Residences reflects a clear ambition: to deliver architecturally designed, right-sizer housing within a predominantly detached, leafy suburb where it is rarely offered.
This project represents a considered shift in how housing can sit within Melbourne’s established suburbs.
The question is no longer whether change occurs, but how it is done. Not density for its own sake, but housing that is measured, durable and aligned with the way people increasingly want to live.
Mountain View Residences respond to that directly. The interconnected buildings are shaped by their surroundings - setbacks that align with the streetscape, massing that steps and recedes, and residences oriented to landscape, light and privacy. It is not imposed on its context, but carefully resolved within it.
Each oversized residence is designed for single-level, long-term living. More than half achieve gold standard accessibility, supporting ageing in place and adaptable occupation over time. Lift access, generous private open space and flexible layouts support both retreat and changing patterns of use, accommodating right-sizers and young families alike. A basement car park provides secure parking alongside integrated, generous storage - ensuring clarity and efficiency of everyday living.
Shared spaces are deliberately composed rather than incidental. Communal terraces are oriented toward views of the Dandenong Ranges, while gardens, seating and productive planting bring life to the ground plane. The design balances privacy with opportunities for connection, allowing for informal, everyday interactions without compromising individual retreat.

Sustainability is embedded from the outset. The building is fully electric, designed to a 7-star energy rating, with EV-ready charging and integrated bike storage. Materials are selected for durability and longevity. Construction prioritises permanence over trend.
Rosanna Primary, the station, local shops and surrounding parkland are all within walking distance. Darebin Creek sits nearby, with the Plenty River beyond.
This is housing calibrated to its context and to what comes next. A form of living that is increasingly necessary, but too often poorly delivered. Mountain View Residences set a benchmark within Rosanna.
